On Friday, September 5 the WHS Roo football team will play their home opener of the 2015 season. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Kangaroo Stadium, when the Roos will take on the Irving Nimitz Vikings.
This game is known as the “Blue Out” and all Weatherford spectators are asked to dress in blue to show support for the team. Sophomore Ty Huang took to social media to remind his fellow students to wear the correct hue.
“Don’t be that one person that doesn’t wear blue to the game tomorrow night,” Huang said on twitter.
The players and coaches are ready to finally play at home again after their win on the road last weekend.
“We are going to keep the roo pride spirit alive, as we build on a big win from last week,” said Coach Fikac.
