Weatherford high school students will be dressed in farmer inspired attire on Friday, September 12. This farm themed spirit day is being held to encourage the WHS football team to “wrangle the mustangs” of Grapevine.
The student body has also maintained a noticeable presence of social media thanks to their “#roo pride” and “#getlouder” campaigns that are still going strong after being started in previous weeks. This game has also inspired many WHS students to refer to the Grapevine mustangs as “#mylittlepony” as the school gears up for Friday’s game in Grapevine.
“My excitement level for Friday’s game is off the charts,” junior Alexa Jade said.
