This is my 8th year in WISD as the head girls' basketball coach, but my 33rd year in coaching and teaching. I just celebrated my 54th birthday this past summer. I started my coaching career in 1986 as a grad asst. at Abilene Christian University in the men's basketball program. I left the next year to coach at Abilene Christian High School, then returned to ACU the following year as an assistant basketball coach for the men and remained there three years, with my last year being the interim head coach.

I moved from there to the University of North Texas as a grad asst. in the women's program, then the next year went back to the high school ranks as the head boys' basketball coach at Sanger High School for two years.

I then went to south Texas for a year as the head boys' basketball coach at Ingram Tom Moore High School, but returned to the Metroplex as an assistant boys' basketball coach at Coppell High School for three years.

After that, I became the head boys' basketball coach at Grapevine High School and remained there for 13 years before heading out to Weatherford to coach girls' basketball.

I have been married for 30 years and have two daughters that currently attend Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

I grew up a gym rat and was an all-state basketball player for two years at Archer City High School, and went on to play college basketball at Abilene Christian University from 1983-1986.

This year I will be travelling campus to campus doing athletics and pre-athletics at the NGC, Tison, Hall, and WHS.
