DECA

What is DECA?

DECA is a co-curricular association of high school marketing students. We are a collective group of over 80,000 international members studying marketing, management, entrepreneurship, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service. 

The organization is defined through the use of four attributes:

• Social Intelligence
• Civic Consciousness
• Leadership Development
• Vocational Understanding 

Each area allows students the opportunity to grow and develop. In order to meet these goals, yearly DECA activities could include:

• Chapter socials and activities
• A DECA "sports night" at the local stadium
• District and state competition
• Business field trips
• Leadership conferences and activities
• Service projects
