Welcome
My name is Lisa Deaver, and I'm the assistant principal at Weatherford High School, primarily serving students with last names beginning with He - Mc, and I also serve at the AP Coordinator. I joined Weatherford ISD in 2022 and began my career in education in 1987. I have 28 years of teaching and coaching experience, and five years as a high school administrator prior to coming to Weatherford High School.
I have a bachelor of science degree in Secondary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and a masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University. I knew I wanted to be an educator because I had teachers and coaches who made a positive impact on my life. Likewise, I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. I love supporting and serving our students, families and teachers, and I'm excited to be a part of Roo Nation!
