This evening Weatherford High School will hold its annual Honors Banquet. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the cafeteria.
The Honors Banquet is an opportunity for the WHS community to honor the top five percent of the sophomore, junior and senior classes. Each senior being recognized will also have an opportunity to honor a teacher who has had a special impact on his or her academic career here in Weatherford.
“It is a wonderful experience for the seniors and for their teachers,” English department head Mr. Tramel said about the banquet. “I’m not sure there is a better day during the year.”
Tonight’s banquet will be invitation only.
