Seniors, new scholarship applications are arriving regularly in the Student Services Office. The Parker County Republican Women’s Club will award a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who is planning to attend college or a technical school. Students will need to complete an application, attach three letters of recommendation, and write an essay on “What Freedom Means to Me” to be eligible for the scholarship. The deadline is April 15.
The Weatherford Educational Support Association will offer two $350 scholarships to graduating WHS seniors. Students will need to complete an application and include two letters of recommendation with a copy of their current transcript to apply for the scholarship. The application deadline is March 20 and applications are available in the Student Services Center.
