Football Scrimmage - Friday, August 23
Friday, as part of our scrimmage both schools have decided to participate in the “Our Day to Shine” program. There is no admission for the scrimmage, but spectators will have the opportunity to donate to the THSCEF Benevolence Fund when they enter the game.
Participating in "Our Day to Shine" gives our athletes, coaches and schools a great opportunity for community service as well as an opportunity to give to a worthy cause.
The THSCEF Benevolence fund was established by the Texas High School Coaches Association Board of Directors to assist athletes and coaches experiencing hardships. To date over 900 schools have participated in OUR DAY TO SHINE and have raised over $614,000.00. The THSCEF has paid over $584,000.00 to athletes and coaches in need.
