Weatherford High School will be hosting the annual Roo Elective Expo on Monday, Nov. 16th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the WHS Cafeteria. During this time 8th grade through 11th grade students and parents will be able to learn more about all the electives we have to offer from Fine Arts, Career and Technology, Advance Placement, Athletics, and more! Many of our clubs and student organizations will also be on hand to share information with you. Following the Roo Elective Expo, students will have until December 1 to make their final course selections and submit those selections in Career Cruising. A computer lab will be available during the Roo Elective Expo for parents and students to make final choices for 2016-2017 courses.

We are asking for your input on the school calendar for the 2016-17 school year. The state legislature enacted a law that requires us to calculate minutes of instructional time for students instead of days of instructional time. This allows us to look at the school calendar a little differently for the upcoming year. The survey will close on November 9th.
