I am writing to make you aware of the passing of a Weatherford High School student.
WHS Junior Dakota Hartman was involved in a serious car accident on Thursday evening and passed away early Friday morning, April 18th.

Hello to all our senior parents. This is Lynn Pool, Principal of Weatherford High School. Our seniors need your help! We need help with finger foods and snacks for prom and with additional funding. Please plan on attending a brief senior parent meeting prior to the Texas Scholar Awards Ceremony. We will meet at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria before the award ceremony. There will be a second meeting following the awards ceremony.

Roo Football Lift-A-Thon

Roo Football Lift-A-Thon

The Roo football team will be holding a lift-a-thon on Thursday, April 17 in the WHS outback. The event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and the proceeds will go toward new weight room equipment for the 2014 football season.

Elvis Will Be In The Building

Elvis will be in the building on Friday, April 4th in Durant Auditorium when impersonator Kraig Parker comes to present his show Elvis! to the Weatherford community. The auditorium doors will open to attendees at 6:30 p.m. and Parker will take the stage at 7:30.

FCCLA Chili's Fundraiser

FCCLA Chili's Fundraiser

The WHS Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America branch will be hosting a “Chili’s Give Back Night” to raise organizational funds for the upcoming school year. The event will be Wednesday, April 2nd from 10:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Weatherford Chili’s location.
