Welcome to the best career in the world!  I LOVE healthcare and sharing my experiences as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 13 years.  Be prepared to learn about topics you may have never considered impacting medicine.  Be prepared to speak the language of Medical Terminology and learn words you never thought you could define!  And be prepared to learn hands-on skills which prepare you for a career in the healthcare industry.

 

I truly believe I have the BEST career as a health science educator, and I honestly believe our health science students are some of the best kids around!!  This is my 9th year in the classroom having joined WISD in December 2020.  My first 3 years teaching were spent in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.

 

I was born and raised in Georgia.  If you prick my finger, I bleed red and black for my Georgia Bulldogs!  I am married to my husband, Conn, and we have three boys, Campbell, Durham, and Garrett.  Campbell is a Senior here at WHS this year and enjoys the culinary program.  Durham is a Sophomore and is excited to be playing football again this fall.  Garrett is in the 8th grade at Hall Middle and LOVES all things animal related.  He's beginning the Ag program and will be playing football again this year.
