About Me

Welcome to Weatherford High School!

 

My name is Darla McKinney, and I am the GRIT Counselor for our 10th grade GRIT students.

 

I am entering my 30th year in education and have been a school counselor for 27 of those years! 

 

I've worked in WISD for 11 years; however, my husband and I made our home in Weatherford in 1998 and both of our children graduated from WHS in 2019 and 2022.  We are a proud ROO Family! 

 

I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my pooches!  We love to go camping and spending time at the lake!
