Welcome to my web page! My name is Jennifer Pool and I am one of the Family and Consumer Science Teachers at WHS. I have been teaching for 20 years, 19 of those being at WHS. I am a Weatherford High School graduate, so I definitely bleed ROO BLUE!
I have been married for 20 years to my husband, Josh. We have two daughters- Brenna (15) and Macie (12). We all love being outdoors and spending time in the pool or at the beach.
I teach Child Development and Teaching Intern I&II, and I am very passionate about these subjects. I have enjoyed learning about Child Development since I was in middle school and am thrilled to get to share that with my students every day. The Teaching Intern program is another class that I absolutely love. Through this class, students get to partner with and work in our local elementary schools. They get to learn what it is really like to be a teacher and see first hand the rewards that can come from a career in this field. Students will also have the opportunity to obtain the Educational Aide I Certificate that can be extremely beneficial to them in the future should they decide to work with children.
