Spanish 2 Assignments

 Spanish 2 is the second year of Spanish where students are at a beginner level.  They will continue to acquire every day vocabulary as well as learning how to use those words in conversation.  Students will practice using their Spanish knowledge as they interpret what they read and hear as well as putting all the information together to produce spoken & written Spanish.  They will do all this through a variety of activities created for beginners. They will also have multiple opportunities to interact with authentic resources in Spanish from Spanish-speaking cultures and countries.  They will learn about several cultural events & celebrations from the Spanish-speaking world.  By the end of the year the students who complete Spanish 2 should be moving toward an Intermediate ability to use the Spanish language.  While many students will end their Spanish studies at this level, they will all be prepared for Spanish 3 Pre-AP if they choose to move forward.
