The WHS Outreach Club is hosting a canned food drive for Project Manna. The drive is currently underway, and will continue through September 24.
All students donating to the drive should bring canned foods to Mrs. Nunn’s room in K105, or to their history teacher.
“The month of September is about bringing canned foods,” Nunn said.
Project Mana is on a mission to reduce hunger in communities around the Untied States. Participants are encouraged to bring in canned foods of any kind. The requested items include: stews, soups, ravioli/spaghetti/lasagna, peanut butter, tuna, beans, cereal, oatmeal, rice, pasta, canned fruits, and vegetables.
