DPD Deputy Chief to Speak Thurs

The Junior World Affairs committee will be hosting Dallas Police Department Deputy Chief Vernon Hale on Thursday, October 2, as he speaks on crime related issues as they apply to law enforcement. The presentation will be held in Durant Auditorium during Megalunch.

The Lady Roos Volleyball team is currently selling PINK OUT shirts to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Students, faculty and community members can order shirts using the attached order form, and orders will be accepted through September 29, 2014.

Senior Picture Day, Sept 29-30

Monday, September 29 and Tuesday, September 30 will be picture day for WHS seniors who have not yet taken their senior portraits. Senior students should sign up in room F210 on Thursday and Friday, for a time to come to the Durant Auditorium foyer next week for their portrait. There will be a minimum $10 sitting fee for the session.

"Beat Arrrlington" Day Friday

On Friday, September 26 Weatherford High School students will participate in a pirate themed spirit day in honor of the school’s “Beat Arrrrlington” campaign. Students are encouraged to wear pirate inspired clothing, and will be attending a pep rally during the school day.
