Sunday, November 16, was a cold evening filled with snow flurries and students hoping that they would not be in school the following morning. Then, a user by the name of @RooPrincipall took to twitter to assure the students that they would be in class the following morning. The problem? The account was attempting to impersonate WHS principal Lynn Pool, whose twitter handle is the very similar @RooPrincipal.

On Friday, December 12, all seniors will attend a class meeting during MegaLunch. The meeting will be held in Durant Auditorium, and will be hosted by Herf-Jones representatives.

The Weatherford Kangaroos will host their annual Kangaroo Klassic tournament at the High School beginning Thursday, December 4. The Kangaroo Klassic is a tournament the Roos look forward to every year. The tournament brings great competition to Weatherford, as teams travel from all around the state to attend.

Thursday, November 13 will be the annual Tip-Off Night for the WHS basketball season. The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Gym A.
