WHS Staff Members Honored On October 8, Weatherford High School faculty and staff held a meeting to honor Leslee Barnes and Monica Martinez for the excellent work they have done throughout this school year. Mrs. Barnes was named “Teacher of the Month”, and Mrs. Martinez was named “Staff Member of the Month”.
PSAT To Be Held Oct. 15 On Wednesday, October 15, Weatherford High School will be administering the PSAT. The test will take place between 8:30 a.m. and approximately 11:45 a.m., and mega lunch will be held after the conclusion of the test.
Craft Fair & Carnival This Weekend On October 11, Weatherford High School will be holding it's Sixth Annual Kangaroo Craft Sale. The event will be held at the high school, and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Roo Band Kicks Off Competition Season On Saturday, October 4, the WHS Fighting Roo Band competed at the U.S. Bands competition held in Burleson, TX. The band performed their show Drive, and came in third place in the Class 5A rankings.
