Chris Kleven - Assistant Band/Percussion Director

Hello Roo Nation!

 

I am excited to be returning for my third year as Percussion Director for Weatherford High School! We had a great deal of success in the last 2 years and I look to build on that as we enter a new season.

 

In the Fall, the Roo Drumline will compete in two ensemble competitions, perform at the Black-Out Pep Rally, and make appearances around town. In addition, individual students will be competing in All-Region Band and Jazz Auditions.

 

In the Spring, we will be hosting the 2nd Annual District-Wide Percussion Ensemble Concert. Both Hall and Tison Middle School Percussion Ensembles will join the High School Percussion Ensembles to put on a great performance. Our students will also have the opportunity to qualify and compete at State Solo and Ensemble Contest. This spring we will also be introducing a new competitive indoor ensemble that will compete in the NTCA Percussion Circuit.
