Dear Students,
The high school experience is an exciting time in your life as you begin to explore the pathways that will take you on your life's journey. I want to encourage all of you to challenge yourselves by taking courses that will prepare you for success as you compete in the global community. Our goal is to provide you with a world class education that positions you for success beyond your senior year. Weatherford ISD's Career and Technical Education department offers a wide variety of course offerings that will help you explore career opportunities and certification programs. 
Now is the time to dream and explore the possibilties that life holds. I wish you all the best of luck on this leg of your journey and encourage you to make wise and thoughtful decisions that will put you in the best position for success in your world after high school.

Mission Statement: As the faculty and staff of WHS CTE and as promoters of career exploration, we will foster student success, build positive relationships, and encourage student participation as lifelong learners in a positive learning environment.

  1. Foster STAAR success for Career and Technology students.
  2. Increase Student enrollment in Career and Technical Education courses.
  3. Increase the % of students that receive a national/state license or certificate recognized by business standards.
  4. Carl Perkins funds will continue to be utilized within the federal guidelines
